John Christopher Depp also known as Johnny Depp is an actor, musician, and film producer born in Owensboro, Kentucky, US. He began his television career with a role in the television series “21 Jump Street” in 1987. in 1984 he appeared in the film ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street” which became a classic. He then appeared in films such as “Thrashin” and ‘Platoon.” He gained more popularity after his lead role in the film “Edward Scissorhands.” He then did not appear in many films until 2003 when he appeared in “Pirates of The Caribbean” as Jack Sparrow which propelled his career to new heights. He also appeared in all of the film’s sequels and is said to be working on the fifth installment of “Pirates of The Caribbean.”
Depp is rumored to be an atheist. During an interview in 2011, he was asked if he has faith and he replied that he has faith in his kids, and in moving forward, but that religion is not his specialty. He currently has 13 tattoos on his body. One of the tattoos is that of a Native American. Aside from his European ancestry, he is said to be of Native American descent.
