Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger Bio
Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger is an actor, bodybuilder, and also served as the governor of the state of California, US until 2001. He was born in Styria, Austria, but moved to the United Stated at the age of twenty one in order to pursue his dream of becoming a professional body builder. He won his first Mr. Olympia title in New York and the won it seven more times. A little known fact is that he may have been in the US illegally during the early 1970s after his visa expired. During his years as a body builder, he inspired many people because of his perseverance, determination, and because he was able to overcome many obstacles to achieve his goals; however, Arnold had more ambitious plans as well. He wanted to be an actor and achieved his goal after being chosen for a role in a film called “Hercules in New York.” He later got a starring role in “Conan the Barbarian” which was his breakthrough film and was followed by many other hits such as “Terminator”, “Commando”, and “Predator.”
Arnold was a supporter of the republican party since he arrived in the US and in 2003 he announced his candidacy for governor of California. He won the elections and served two terms as governor of California. In 1986, he married journalist Maria Shriver and they had four children together. They separated in 2011 after she found out that he had been having an affair his their housekeeper “Baena” with whom he had a child named Joseph. Arnold has recently appeared in “Escape Plan” alongside Sylvester Stallone and 50 cent.
