Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, also known simply as Neymar, was born in Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil. He is a Brazilian football player who currently plays Spanish Club FC Barcelona. He is currently considered one of the top football players in the world. In 2013 he was named the 6th best football player in the world by The Guardian. He was named after his father and it is the reason why he is often called Neymar jr. When he was only 19, he was named the 2011 South American Footballer of the Year. He became a father to a baby boy in 2011 when he was 19 years old. The baby’s mother is Carolina Dantas. Although Neymar is no longer in a relationship with Carolina, he enjoys spending time with his son. Neymar recently broke up with Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine and is said to be single.
