Jessica Ann Simpson is a recording artist, actress, and television host born in Abilene, Texas, US. She became famous after the release of her first single called “I Wanna Love You Forever” which reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her first album called Sweet Kisses became certified platinum twice. Since then, she has had many other hit singles such as “Irresistible.” Her third album “In This Skin” became her best selling album both in the United States and Worldwide. She then ventured into country music in 2008 and released “Do You Know.”
She mentioned going back to her roots as a reason why she wanted to venture into the country music scene. The country single “Come on Over” reached top 41 on the Billboard’s “Hot Country Songs.” In 2012, she gave birth to her first child named Maxwell Drew Johnson and in 2013 she gave birth to her second child Ace Knute Johnson. On the political front, Simpson has publicly supported the Republican party by endorsing George W. Bush in the 2004 presidential elections.
