Kareena Kapoor is originally from Mumbai, India. She is also known as Kareena Kapoor Khan. She has appeared in several Bollywood films. She is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and the younger sister of actress Karisma Kapoor.

She is known for having played a variety of characters in a wide range of film from romantic comedies to crime dramas. Kapoor has established herself as one of Bollywood’s most prominent actresses. Kapoor’s nickname is “Bebo.” She is born in a family that have been in the film industry for generations, for example her paternal great grandfather, Prithviraj Kapoor; her grandfather, Raj Kapoor; and paternal uncles, as well as other family members from her maternal side.
Kapoor studied in Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu, Bombay as a child and was then she enrolled in Dehra Dun’s “Welham Girls” Boarding School.
She then transferred to Harvard temporarily to take a coursework in her field. After returning to India, she joined the “Government Law College” in Churchgate, Bombay, but left it after a year to enroll in the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School. Her fathwe, Randhir is very protective of his daughters and wanted both of them to pursue something other than acting and get married.
Unfortunately her parents divorced as a result due to differences in the way her parents wanted to raise them. Mallika and her sister left and decided to live with their mom who allowed them to pursue their careers.
