Marshall Brucess Mathers Bio
Marshall Brucess Mathers also known as Eminem is an actor, rapper, and producer born in St. Joseph Missouri US, but raised in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up with his mother in a lower middle class neighborhood in Detroit. He grew up in a neighborhood made up of mostly African Americans and was bullied, and beaten up on several occasions while growing up. He developed an interest for comic books before discovering Hip Hop. When he was only 14 years old, he began rapping with his high school friends and started to attend underground Hip Hop freestyle events.
In 1996, he signed with FBT Productions and launched his debut album called Infinite, but unfortunately, the album was not successful and he fell into a depression. He then attempted to commit suicide because of his drug problems and other issues affecting his life. In 1997, he recorded the Slim Shady LP which was one of the best selling albums released that year which included singles such as “Guilty Conscience” and “My Name Is.” His third album “The Eminem Show” was also a major hit for the rapper, He has subsequently released other successful albums and continues to do so. In addition to his musical career, he has also appeared in films such as “8 Mile” and “Funny People.” Aside from his career, he founded his own charity to help poor and disadvantaged kids.
