Demetria Devonne Lovato is a singer and actress born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, US. She began her career as a child actress at a very young age. When she was a child, she appeared in “Barney and Friends.” She became more famous in 2008 when shes appeared in the television film “Camp Rock.” She subsequently released her debut album that same year and it was a hit on the Billboard chart. She released her second album called “Here We Go Again” in 2009 which sold more copies than her previous album. She then appeared in ‘Grey’s Anatomy” and “Camp Rock 2.”
Aside from her acting career, she is known for her personal struggles. She suffered from bulimia, and nervous breakdowns. She once tried to commit suicide and has to be institutionalized. Luckily, she has been able to recover from her previous struggles and is focusing on her career once again. She is currently an active supporter of gay rights and often tweets about her stance on gay rights.
