Carlos Irwin Estevez also known by his stage name Charlie Sheen, is an actor born in New York City, New York. His two brothers and younger sister are all actors. His parents moved to Malibu California when his brother Martin was given the chance to participate in a Broadway show called “The Subject Was Roses.” Sheen was expelled from school due to his poor grades and bad behavior around the same time that he decided that he wanted to be an actor; therefore, the decided to take on his new stage name. Charlie or Charles is the English equivalent of his birth name Carlos.
His career began in 1984 with his role in the film “Red Dawn.” He subsequently appeared in other films, for example: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Platoon,” and many more. Despite the fact that he previously appeared in several films, it was not until he appeared in sitcoms such as “Spin City,” and “Two and A Half Men‘ that he became a popular celebrity. After his success with the show “Two and A Half Men,” he became involved in scandals due to his drug use and bizarre statements. He has been arrested for drug use and for assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller.
