Kevin D. hart is an actor and comedian born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his single mother, Nancy. His father became a cocaine addict and was in jail for much of Kevin’s childhood. After finishing high school, he moved to New York to attend a community college, then after graduating, he moved to Brockton, Massachusetts to pursue a career in stand up comedy.
Some of his role models include Eddie Murphy and Dave Chappelle. His comedy career began in 2009 when he started touring with his act “Im a Grown Little Man” and then “Seriously Funny” the following year. He has also appeared in several films such as “Scary Movie 4,” “Soul Plane,” and “Paper Soldiers” to name a few. On April 2013, he was arrested and sentenced to a three year probation after he pleased guilty to driving under the influence.
