Charles Matthew Hunnam is an actor and screenwriter born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He is well known for his roles in the series “Weird as Folk,” “Green Street,” and “Sons of Anarchy.” He was discovered at the age of 17 by a production manager while he shopped at a store and was offered to appear in three episodes of the show “Biker Grove.” He then appeared in “Whatever happened to Harold Smith” and moved to LA, US. He has subsequently appeared in the series “Young Americans,” and films such as “Cold Mountain,” “Abandon,” and many more. He was offered a role as Christian Grey in the film ’50 Shades of Grey,” but was then withdrawn from the film for several reasons and Jamie Dornan was given the role instead.
