Michael Joseph Jackson was a singer, dancer, and businessman born in Gary, Indiana. He is often referred to as the “king of Pop” or simply MJ. He has been recognized as the world’s most successful entertainer by Ginnes World Records. He is the eight child of the Jackson family and debuted as an entertainer at a very young age as a member of the Jackson 5. He then began his solo career in 1971. In the 1980’s, he became the most popular musician with many successful hits such as “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” and “Beat it.”
His music videos were very different because of their unique choreography and style. During he 1990s, Jackson’s changing appearance, and personal problems caused a lot of controversy. He was also accused of sexual harassment. His death became major news in 2009. Many websites crashed as a result of the increase in searches related to his death. After his death, he became the best selling albums artist of 2009.
