Theo James was born on December 16, 1984 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He is the son of Jane and Phillip Taptiklis. He has Greek, English, and Scottish ancestry. He went to a single-sex male grammar school in Aylesbury and graduated from the University of Nottingham with a undergraduate degree in philosophy. He went to theater school located in Bristol, England called The Bristol Old Vic Theater School.
James is known for his performance in Underworld: Awakening (2012) and The Inbetweeners which was released in 2011. He will appear in the film “Insurgent” which will be released in 2015. Filming for “Insurgent” began in May of the present year. (2014)
